Late last year I did this beautiful shoot with the lovely Samantha Harris. I first noticed her in Nylon (Australia) in 2005, now she is 19 she is really starting to make a name for herself. With stunning her long limbs and petulant pout, she has a stunningly original look (her aboriginal and danish background might have something to do with that) and will no doubt go far.

My gorgeous friend Divya Bala did a stellar job on styling this shoot, I miss working with her! Now she has landed a great job at Sass & Bide she has less time to style sadly. Fingers crossed she will find some time for me!

We sourced some amazing pieces, the octopus headpiece above from Romance Was Born was definitely a fave.

We shot in and around Annandale, choosing different suburban houses for their very Aussie Summer vibe. The red brick one is actually a church, but we covered up any such references, and the final building was a deliciously tacky 1970s reno job we found in the backstreets of Glebe.
