Flower Power

A (microscopic) walk through Pin Mill, in the British countryside.

I was immersed in the happenings deep within the grasses of the fields, the ants impersonating the black taxis in London, shiny skins racing around in haphazard order, lady beetles strolling along the promenade, parading their new red threads, bees tramping their way around town, from one flower to the next, a lad out on the prowl, flowers aching for the sun, the last chance at sunbathing they will get, on this unseasonably warm late September day.
